Out of Towner

We spent the weekend preparing for and then hosting an out-of-town guest. She was a low-key and very flexible guest, the best kind to have. She had no specific requests, and was very amenable to entertainment suggestions. I have to say that having a beach three blocks away is a very reliable way for us and our guests to find some space and time apart. We tell them to turn right out of the building and enjoy!

Our guest also played well with others: going to a party with my friends and then to a concert with Jason and his friend. Over drinks I think that she, my friend and I planned trips to go to surfing camp in Mexico, the World Cup in South Africa, exploring Macchu Piccu and attending a music festival in Barcelona.
Out-of-town guests always test our growing Chicago knowledge: where to go, where to eat and how to get there. We found a wonderful brunch & lunch place that will surely become a regular stopping point, in nearby Andersonville: M. Henry. A menu full of AMAZING breakfast options, served all day.
